Kuching - Senari Synergy subsidiaries IOT Management Sdn Bhd (IOTM) and Tanjung Manis Oil Distribution Terminal Management Sdn Bhd (TMOTM), proudly announce their recognition as recipients of the prestigious 11th Premier of Sarawak Environmental Award (PSEA) 2023/2024. This accolade celebrates the organizations’ steadfast commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable business practices in Sarawak.
The PSEA is the highest state-level recognition for environmental excellence, acknowledging organizations that demonstrate outstanding contributions to environmental sustainability, compliance with environmental regulations, and the integration of eco-friendly practices into their operations.
YBhg Tan Sri Datuk Amar (Dr.) Haji Abdul Aziz, Chairman of Senari Synergy, expressed pride in the organization’s achievement, stating, "This award underscores our unwavering dedication to environmental sustainability and reflects the collective efforts of our team in prioritizing the well-being of the environment while achieving business excellence. During the event, IOTM was awarded the prestigious Gold Award in the Large Enterprise Category while TMOTM received the Gold Award in the Medium Enterprise Category.
Both IOTM and TMOTM were recognized for their proactive initiatives in minimizing environmental impact, including the implementation of advanced waste management systems, continuous improvements in energy efficiency and carbon footprint reduction, the adoption of innovative, sustainable technologies in oil and terminal operations, and the promotion of environmental awareness among stakeholders and the local community.
