9 October 2023 – Senari Synergy Group of Companies grabbed three prestigious awards during the Premier of Sarawak Industry Excellence Awards (PSIEA, formerly known as CMIEA) Dinner 2023. These awards were presented by the Premier of Sarawak, the Right Honourable Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari Bin Tun Datuk Abang Haji Openg to Senari Synergy Port Sdn Bhd (SSPSB), Tanjung Manis Oil Terminal Management Sdn Bhd (TMOTMSB), and Borneo Asphalt Sdn Bhd (BASB).
The Group Managing Director, Tuan Haji Jefri Ahmad Tambi, expressed his gratitude and appreciation, to the organiser and all the committed and talented staffs of Senari Synergy Group of Companies. “We are truly honoured to receive these prestigious awards once again, which reflect the dedication and hard work of our teams at SSPSB, TMOTMSB, and BASB. These awards being the highest recognition by the Sarawak State Government, reaffirm Senari Synergy Group’s commitment to innovation, quality, and sustainability. The awards also highlight the remarkable synergies within our group of companies.” he said.

SSPSB is the leading port operator for the oil, gas, and chemicals (OGC) products in the Southern Region of Sarawak, TMOTMSB operates the Central Oil Distribution Terminal responsible for the storing petroleum products for the Central Region of Sarawak, and BASB is involved in receiving, storing, trading, and distributing bitumen in the Southern Region of Sarawak.
In 2021, another subsidiary of Senari Synergy Group of Companies, the Independent Oil Terminal Management Sdn Bhd (IOTMSB), was awarded the overall Grand Winner of the Chief Minister Industry Excellence Award (CMIEA). IOTM later represented Sarawak at the national level and was accorded the Ministry of International Trade and Industry’s (MITI) Industry Excellence Award (Services Sector Category) during MITI’s biannual prestigious Anugerah Kecemerlangan Industri (AKI) event in Kuala Lumpur.
