Senari Synergy subsidiaries, IOT Management Sdn Bhd (IOTM) and Tanjung Manis Oil Terminal Management Sdn Bhd (TMOTM) won two awards at the 40th MSOSH’s Occupational Safety and Health Awards 2022. The award ceremony was held yesterday at Sunway Resort & Spa, Petaling Jaya Selangor.
The awards were conferred after a series of documentation audits as well as site verification audits by a panel of auditors consisting of representatives from the Ministry of Human Resources, DOSH, SOCSO, NIOSH, SIRIM, FMM, MEF, MSOSH, multinational corporations, private companies, and professional OSH practitioners from different industry backgrounds.
IOTM and TMOTM were both conferred with one Gold Class 1 Award and one Silver Award, respectively, under the Petroleum, Gas, Petrochemical, & Allied Sector category. The awards were presented by the CUEPACS President, Dato’ Adnan Mat to Ismail Julaihi, IOTM’s Head of Terminal, and Abdul Muin Amir, TMOTM’s Terminal Manager, who accepted the awards on behalf of the IOTM and TMOTM, respectively. Also present was the Group’s Managing Director, Tuan Haji Jefri Ahmad Tambi.
Haji Jefri commented, “Senari Synergy Group of Companies is committed to maintaining a high level of safety and health standards in all aspects of our terminal operations”.
“These awards are testimonies of Senari Synergy Group continuous efforts in instilling the culture of health and safety in our daily operations”, he added. Since its inception, IOTM & TMOTM has recorded an impressive record of 9 million manhours and 1.68 million manhours of no loss time injury respectively.
In addition to the awards above, Senari Synergy Group of Companies has also received the Corporate Excellence Awards in the Asia Pacific Entrepreneur Awards (APEA) in May 2022, as well as the Sarawak Chief Minister’s Industry’s Excellence Awards (CMIEA) earlier this year.
