Senari Synergy Group of Companies and its staff had donated five (5) cattle to villages in Kuching and Tanjung Manis for the community’s annual korban program.

These villages are Kampung Sungai Midin, Kampung Bintawa Tengah, and Kampung Goebilt in Kuching, Kampung Taee in Serian, and in Tanjung Manis.

Korban contribution is an annual activity conducted by Senari Synergy Group of Companies in conjunction with the Hari Raya Aidiladha celebration. The program was also conducted even during the pandemic period through online korban as the physical korban was not allowed by the Majlis Islam Sarawak (MIS) due to increasing cases of Covid-19 at that time.

The Group Managing Director, Tuan Haji Jefri Ahmad Tambi said, “In Senari Synergy, we believe in sharing our blessings with those who are in need. Hence, we have been maintaining these ritual activities every year amongst our Group of Companies.”

“The distribution covers the hardcore poor, the handicapped, Muslim converts, and the less fortunate,” he added.

He also expressed his thanks to the Penghulu, Ketua Kampung, committee members, and residents of Kampung Sungai Midin, Kampung Goebilt, Kampung Bintawa Tengah, and Urusetia Saudara Kita (USK), Cawangan Bukar Taee for the assistance in ensuring the success of the korban program.
