Senari Synergy Sdn Bhd today launch its Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy. The ceremony was officiated by Yang Berhormat Datuk Haji Talib Bin Zulpilip, Minister in the Chief Minister's Department (Integrity and Ombudsman) and witnessed by Senior Assistant Commissioner Chang Ching, Deputy Director (Prevention) of Malaysia Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Sarawak.
Senari Synergy is represented by its Group Managing Director Tuan Haji Jefri Ahmad Tambi and its Board of Directors.
“Senari Synergy driven by its core values of uncompromising integrity, exceptional performance, and mutual respect, is committed to preserve and uphold the integrity, transparency and good governance in all aspects of its operations. Senari Synergy has zero tolerance against any breach of integrity and all forms of bribery and corruptions. Our integrity journey started with the signing of the Corporate Integrity Pledge in 2016. The pledge signifies our unilateral declaration against corrupt practices, resolution to work towards a highly principled Malaysian business environment and commitment to develop a solid business fundamental and environment based on good moral values, ethics and integrity. Since then Senari Synergy has put in place rigorous process and procedures to ensure compliance and to mitigate possible transgression of its system and processes” Haji Jefri said.
Following the launching of the ABAC Policy Senari Synergy will also be introducing the Code of Business Ethic for its business employees, directors and business associates. Senari Synergy will also be pursuing for the certification of ISO 37001:2016 Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS) to improve the organisational efficiency and effectiveness in managing risks associated with bribery and corruption as well as maintaining a high level of organisational accountability and integrity.
YB Datuk Talib in his speech appraised Senari Synergy’s initiative which is in tandem with the State Government’s aspiration to have a developed State by 2030 that is supported and embedded with this spirit and culture of integrity.
"I hope that more state owned companies will follow the initiative undertaken by Senari Synergy today” he added.
He also assures the State Government full commitment to eradicate corruption and develop a high integrity culture as demonstrated through continuous and vigorous efforts and strategies that were established, cascaded and implemented throughout the State, from Ministers to the grassroots leaders.
