Senari Synergy & SOCSO Provide Immediate Assistance to Support Accident Employeee

Senari Synergy Sdn Bhd with the support of SOCSO had provided immediate assistance to one of Senari Synergy Sdn Bhd’s employees, Encik Abdul Rajak @ Yusuf Bin Manap to assist him on his medical fees. Encik Abdul Rajak @ Yusuf Bin Manap was involved in the major accident on 16 November 2018 with a 10 tonnes lorry. Since then, he has been hospitalized and had undergone few operations in one of the Specialist Medical Centre in Kuching.

Senari Synergy has extended its support by immediately releasing the Group Hospitalization Insurance benefit to cover portion of his hospitalization bill. Over and above the Group Hospitalization Insurance Senari Synergy is also facilitating his Group Personal Accident claim, SOCSO claim, his EPF withdrawal and supporting him with the third party claims.

To further assist the family, the management has also decided to extend a discretionary token of RM5000.00 to assist in his medical expenses.

The contribution’s cheque was handed over by the Group Managing Director of Senari Synergy Group of Companies, Tuan Haji Jefri Ahmad Tambi to him at a private hospital. Witnessed by Cik Shirley Edwin representative from SOSCO Kuching.

Tuan Haji Jefri said “This unfortunate event that befall on Encik Yusuf Manaf can happen to anyone of us. Hence let us take proactive and focus measure in enhancing our daily safety and health. We would like to urge all staffs who are riding motorcycles to work to practice safe riding etiquette. Please adhere strictly to the road regulations, particularly in ensuring the roadworthiness of your motorcycles, wearing of safety helmet, putting on proper visible clothing and wearing of safety boots/shoes while on the road.”

Tuan Haji Jefri also said that “In order to contribute to the health and well-being of all employees as well as to protect our indoor air quality, the Senari Synergy Group shall be entirely smoke-free zone with immediate effect. Additionally, the use of all tobacco and smoking products, including chewing tobacco and electronic cigarettes (E-cigarettes), is banned from the Senari Synergy Group workplace, except as designated area”.
