Senari Synergy Group & Companies and its staff contributed 3 (three) heads of cattle to Masjid Darul Iman, Kampung Senari for the Qurban (Sacrificed Ceremony) during the Hari Raya Aidil Adha celebration today.
Group Managing Director of Senari Synergy, Tuan Hj Jefri Ahmad Tambi said Aidil Adha is not only about sacrifice, but also to instil the spirit of gratefulness/gratitude to Allah SWT. This is the time of the year that we reflect the countless blessings that Allah SWT has bestowed upon us and for us to reciprocate by giving back to the society. In addition he said, Aidil Adha is also to promote solidarity by coming together as a community where everybody assist in the slaughtering of the cattle and distributing the meat to the needy.
In conjunction with the occasion, Senari Synergy also contributed RM1000.00 to Masjid Darul Iman and RM1350.00 each to its initial 4 (four) recipients of the Permata Synergy programme.
This money is deposited in the Tabung Haji accounts of the recipients as an initial deposit for the registration to perform the hajj (upon the consent of the participants), for their future use and also concurrently to inculcate the saving culture. In addition, they will be supported through provision of the monthly allowance. The objective of the programme is to ease the burden of the orphanage children, ranging from 6 till 12 years old.
Moving forward, Senari Synergy plans to adopt 20 orphanage children who are eligible to be in the programme. The program is for children with a deceased parent due to accidents or fatal sickness, total household income of below the minimum wage salary or poverty line index and residing with custodians who are not privileged or less fortunate. In addition, the participation to the program is also verified by the school.
Tuan Haji Jefri on behalf of Senari Synergy, expressed his thanks to Senari Board member Tuan Haji Mohd Zainuddin Dawi, Majlis Islam Sarawak, Penghulu, Ketua Kampung, committee members of Masjid Darul Iman, residents of Kampung Senari and staff of Senari Synergy for making it possible for Senari Synergy to perform its Qurban.
